Festival of Lights

my synagogue does this really cool thing on the shabbat that falls during hanukkah (this year that was last night and also the last night but I think they only do it last night) where every family brings their menorah & lights it in the front of the sanctuary and they turn out the lights and do the service by the light of the menorahs.

For full effect you need to play this over and over since it is so short. We filmed it last year but it never gets old. Poor potato.... Max is really doing a number on it.

We have a diagnosis

Jacob has autism. Now we'll see what difference having a name makes, if any. Yesterday we met with the pediatric neurologists at the Dan Marino center. Today his teacher sent home a big packet of his work and said "Jacob has declared a war on schoolwork." Um, thanks.
